Senior Volunteers

BY TOUCHING ONE LIFE AT A TIME, VOLUNTEERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

For LCRAC’s Council on Aging, volunteers are the keys to our success. Volunteers are needed to support many of the services and programs we offer. Whatever your unique gift, talent, or passion may be, there is an opportunity to join our dedicated volunteer base. Volunteering does not mean you must give up all of your free time. Volunteering as little as a couple of hours a month can make a world of difference.

Volunteer Opportunities

Becoming a LCRAC’s Council on Aging volunteer is simple. Volunteers start by calling either their senior center of interest or our administrative office. You will be asked to fill out volunteer information forms and will be given an orientation.

Aging Administration (data entry, research, phone calls, mailings, & fundraising)

Meals on Wheels (meal delivery and meal packing assistance)

Senior Center (senior center projects, RSVP projects and more)

Special Events (fundraising, holiday projects, service projects and more)

We are seeking volunteers for the areas of: Batesburg-Leesville, Lexington, & Swansea.
