Fall 2024 Junior Tennis Programs

Session I: Aug 12 - Sept 22, 2024 -- 6 weeks - make ups are on Fridays
Session II: Sep 23 - Nov 3, 2024 -- 6 weeks - make ups are on Fridays
Session III: Nov. 4 - Dec 15, 2024 -- 6 weeks - make ups are on Fridays

Junior Development Programs:
These classes are designed to get kids playing tennis quickly with age appropriate racquets, balls, and court size. Through dynamic drills kids learn quicker and with better technique than using conventional equipment. These classes are designed for kids to learn to rally and play matches, in some cases, in a single session. 1x/week—$18/class ($108 for 6 weeks) ; 2x/week-$16/class($192 for 6 weeks)
3x/week—$14/class ($252 for 6 weeks) ; 4x/week - $12/class ($288 for 6 weeks)


Red Ball (ages 4-7) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:15pm - 5:00pm or Sundays 1:45pm - 2:30pm
Orange Ball Level I: (ages 8-10) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:00pm - 6:00pm or Sundays 2:30pm - 3:30pm
Green Dot Level I: (11-14) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:00pm - 7:00pm or Sundays 3:30pm - 4:30pm


Varsity Prep
This class is the next step toward playing high school tennis. It is designed for kids looking to add match play and/or team tennis to further develop their skills and enjoyment of the sport. Kids will continue working on developing their technique while adding basic strategy and footwork.

1x/week—$27/class ($162 for 6 weeks); 2x/week-$24/class ($288 for 6 weeks);
3x/week—$21/class ($378 for 6 weeks) 4x/week - $18/class ($432 for 6 weeks)


Yellow Ball: (ages 9-16) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00pm - 8:30pm or Sundays 4:30pm - 6:00pm

*10% discount for siblings; *Pro-rated amounts available for late start or pre-approved missed classes; *No classes Labor Day: Mon Sep 2; Thanksgiving Break Nov 21st ; *Rain out classes will be made up on Friday or Saturday of the same week.

FALL PICKLEBALL PROGRAMS

The LCTC Pickleball Program will be under the direction of Brian Clary, Director of Tennis & Pickleball Operations for Lexington County. All lessons will be taught by certified professional coach Alex Mouton.

Jr. Development - Pickleball:

Jr. Pickleball Program  These classes are designed to get kids playing pickleball quickly with age appropriate skills and drills. Through dynamic drills, kids learn quickly the necessary skills required to control their swing speeds, and paddle face for better control. These classes are designed for kids just starting out who desire playing matches as quickly as possible.  Classes will be divided by ages once registration takes place. Additional instructors may be required each class. Additional classes can be arranged if these class times don’t work.  Contact the front desk for more information or to register at 803-957-7676 or [email protected] $108/Session; $192/Session if playing two days per week (session dates are listed above)

· Quickstart (Beginners) (ages 6-9)   Tuesday’s and/or Thursday’s 4:15 - 5:00pm

· Heavy Hitter’s (Intermediate) (ages 10-14)  Tuesday’s and/or Thursday’s 5:00 - 6:00pm

Adult Classes:

Adult Pickleball  These classes are designed to get adults playing pickleball quickly. We want you playing! Through dynamic drills adults can quickly learn the necessary skills required to control their swing speeds, paddle face and movement for better control, exercise and injury prevention. These classes are designed to get you playing matches quickly if you’re a beginner or with more strategy as an intermediate.  Additional classes can be arranged if these class times don’t work. · Adult Beginners:  Tuesday’s and/or Thursday’s 6:00 - 7:00pm  ;  Saturday’s 12:00 - 1:00pm

· Adult Intermediate:  Monday's and/or Wednesday's 5:30 - 6:30pm  ;  Saturday’s 1:00 - 2:00pm

Drill ’N Play These classes are designed to help players work on specific shots, when to use them, and to become more proficient using them during match play. The idea is to work on a specific shot, practice the shot with dynamic drills and then play with the intent to use the shot at the right times during play.  See the class schedule below.  45minutes of drill time followed by 45 minutes of match play. 8 player limit, other classes can be added to accommodate demand and schedules.  See Alex for more drill times.

· Monday’s 9-10:30am ;  Wednesday’s 6:30 - 7:45pm  - Cost: $15 member, $18 non-member


Court Information



We offer 21 Lighted World-Class Courts with a Championship-Sized Stadium Court that has a viewing capacity of approximately 500 persons. Courts are complete with small central gazebos, iced water coolers, and trash receptacles. We also offer electrical outlets for ball-machine use on 5 courts - Stadium Court included. 

HOURLY RATES

We offer the largest permanent site in the Midlands area with 8 permanent lighted courts. 
Courts are complete with a small central gazebo, iced water coolers and trash receptacle.   


Pro Shop and Canteen



Our facility houses state of the art Stringing Equipment; a variety of junior and adult gear including: rackets, socks, hats/visors, bags, balls, and racket accessories; additionally, the Canteen provides our guests with a plethora of salty, sweet, nutritious snacks and beverages.
